DaVita has selected the Union Station area in downtown Denver for its new corporate headquarters, disclosing plans Wednesday to spend $101 million to develop a 270,000-square-foot building near the Millennium Bridge at the west end of the 16th Street Mall.
The Fortune 500 kidney-care provider said the new office will initially house at least 450 employees, with capacity for up to 900. If the building reaches capacity, DaVita’s presence in Denver will be much larger than initially anticipated.
