Good Morning Everyone!
With this weekly post, I’ve taken on 2019 almost every single week in relation to Denver’s Residential Real Estate Market. For me, this has been a “good news, bad news” story. On the good side, it has kept me closely linked to the market, and it has provided ammo for discussion when asked, “How is the Denver Market?” On the bad side, I believe when someone is too close to a single thought, it allows them to overlook the bigger picture that surrounds. Personally, I take this very seriously, and read, watch and listen broadly to help prevent this. I hope this is the truth!
With this written, let’s take a look at this week’s MLS numbers. Right off the bat, I can see seasonal affects making their mark, but at the same time, relative strength is continuing right to the “bitter end” in spite of the snow!

A successful move, relocation, down pricing, down sizing or even moving up takes planning. “Jumping out of a airplane without a parachute is not healthy.” The proper order and proper plan for buying or selling a home requires the same attention to detail. Give us a call, come in, spend just one hour with us. Let us show you a clear pathway to a successful transition. We’ll be there for you…

Yesterday, Elliot posted a story of interest to me. In my own neighborhood, I’ve observed elements of these same demographic activity.
We’ve discussed the #BlackSwans lurking several times this year. As we close out the year, to me, #China seems to be the one with lasting qualities. Revolving around several sub-hashtags. #China can identify with #Trade, #HongKong, #HumanRights, #Currency and at least a dozen more. The people of China are our friends, but the powerful in place scare markets around the world. From another time and place, but still applicable today; “It’s a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.”
It’s a great time to see a heart warming moving with friends and family. Dee and I went to, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood”. It will make you laugh, cry and think about who, what and where you are in your world. We enjoyed it. Thanks for date night DeeDee!

During the winter months in Colorado, attracting home buyers to go dashing through the snow to an open house requires a different plan than in the summer months. By staging your home appropriately, though, it could lead to a quicker sale. Here are some tips for staging your home during the holidays.
When it comes to choosing a ski resort in Colorado, there is certainly no shortage of incredible options from which to choose! Here’s a round-up of our top 5 resorts for your next family ski vacation.
Home sales usually peak mid-summer and then the market begins its seasonal cooldown just in time for the fall. The lowest number of both new listings and number of homes sold usually occurs in December or January. It appears we are right on track with that trend this year.
With a foot of snow on the ground where I am in Denver this morning, I’ll be brief and get going.
